Prof. Jane Thuo is a distinguished academic and environmental advocate, a professor at Nairobi University, and the chairperson of the Association of Media Women in Kenya (AMWIK). She is passionate about biodiversity conservation and sustainable development, working across Africa to drive community-based initiatives and promote ecological resilience.

Personal Experience:

With over two decades of experience, Professor Thuo has worked extensively in research, teaching, and field projects across Africa. She has collaborated with various organizations to develop strategic frameworks for environmental conservation, empowering local communities in the process. As the chairperson of AMWIK, she also advocates for media representation and the inclusion of women's voices in environmental and social issues in Kenya.
